Divided into age-appropriate groups, this tool is a great supplement to many corresponding literature units. Lumosity is a program consisting of a series of personalized games based on neuroscience research, which aim to "train" humans' brains to function more effectively and efficiently. The company has recently come out with a free, educational version. Your students (grades 3-12) can participate in the program if you fill out an application here: Lumosity Education Access Program (LEAP). This program would be a great free-time reward for students, or as an addition to the usual collection of games they might already utilize during certain times.
