#SatChat Every Saturday morning at 7:30 EST/PST educators from around the world share their thoughts, resources and experiences using the hashtag #satchat. When you leave your computer, even for a brief moment, you may be leaving your data vulnerable for others to access while you're away. A quick and easy way to lock your computer (without shutting it down) is to press and hold the windows key and then press the "L" key. Now your computer requires your password to access it again. As a teacher, your computer may hold important items such as grades, IEP details, confidential emails, copies of assessments, etc. It's good practice to secure your computer if you are away from it for any length of time. To re-gain access to your computer, simply type Ctrl+Alt+Delete and then type in the password that you use to log in the first time upon startup.
You can easily search for specific interests like literacy, or classroom tools like iPads or environments like centers.

What: An RSS Feed (Rich Site Summary Feed); is used to publish frequently updated works like blogs, and news. Seeing the symbol to the left means that an RSS is available for the content you are viewing should you wish to subscribe to it.
