Selecting, copying, and pasting can be tricky when you're working on a laptop without a mouse, or simply working from a smaller screen. Use the keyboard to simplify the process:
Select All: Ctrl + A To select everything in a given range without messing with your laptop's track-pad or mouse, simply click once inside the selection, hold Ctrl and push the letter A. Copy: Ctrl + C To copy what you just selected without accidentally deselecting it, hold Ctrl and push the letter C. Paste: Ctrl + V To paste what you just selected, (while the selection is still active) hold Ctrl and push the letter V. Cut: Ctrl + X To cut a selection, hold Ctrl and push the letter X. |
